Sweets: Oat Bar - Fall Spice

-------- Line 9x9 pan with tin foil. Shiny Side to food. See: Tips & Tricks: Line Pan with Tinfoil

-------- Put in sauce pan
3/4 cup brown (golden or white) sugar
1/2 cup butter
-1- tbsp milk - (rice, oat, water...)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp salt
-------- Bring to gentle boil over medium heat
-------- Remove from heat

-------- Add to saucepan and stir
1/2 tsp vanilla

-------- Add to saucepan and stir
-3- cups quick oats (wheat and gluten free)

-------- Spread mixture evenly 9x9 foil lined pan See:
-------- Refrigerate until set - about 30 minutes
-------- Store in fridge

Optional white chocolate topping. See: Sweets: Chocolate on top

-------- Clean up: Rinse pot and spatula/spoon in hot water, for easier washing.

AboutIts amazing how dense these bars are.
I cut them into 16, each having 1/4 cup oatmeal in them. My breakfast porridge is 1/4 cup oatmeal.
